Athens, 15.11.2023 – Export Credit Greece is pleased to announce that it will organise the Prague Club Biennial Meeting of Berne Union in Athens, on 22-23 May 2024. It is particularly important that for the first time this conference is being in Greece, at a pivotal moment for the export sector, as it brings together all the leading national export credit organisations (ECA), worldwide, as well as investment organisations.
The organisation of the Prague Club Biennial Meeting by ECG will highlight the new strategic role of Export Credit Greece, strengthen its international image as a catalyst for the Greek economy and will provide an opportunity for the exchange of good practices among the export credit counterparts.
The CEO of Export Credit Greece, Gregory Stamatopoulos, said: “Greece and Export Credit Greece will be at the centre of the export credit and export ecosystem next May. The organisation of the Prague Club Meeting gives our country the opportunity to highlight its planning and to unfold, to the members of the global export economy community, the initiatives it has undertaken to strengthen the stability and transparency of international trade. We diligently continue to build the solid foundations that Greek businesses need to reach every part of the planet safely and we contribute to the internationalisation of the Greek economy in every way”.
The official announcement to hold the next Prague Club Biennial Meeting in Greece took place during the Annual General Meeting of Berne Union, which was held online on 14 November 2023.
