Export Credit Greece is pleased to announce that it will organise the Prague Club Biennial Meeting of Berne Union in Athens, on 22-23 May 2024. This meeting of Berne Union members is held every 2 years. For the first time in its history, ECG will host a Berne Union meeting in Greece, highlighting once again its extroverted character.
Berne Union is the leading global association in the export credit industry and is an important pillar of cross-border trade, providing a forum for the exchange of expertise and networking among its members, while promoting constructive collaboration with the wider trade finance industry, including banks, regulators and policy, trade, academic and other associations. Its mission is to facilitate cross-border trade in terms of export credits and foreign investment. The formerly autonomous Prague Club has now become an integral part of the Berne Union.
The organisation of the Prague Club Biennial Meeting by ECG will highlight the new strategic role of Export Credit Greece, strengthen its international image as a catalyst for the Greek economy and will provide an opportunity for the exchange of good practices among the export credit counterparts. The Prague Club Biennial Meeting will be attended by its members as well as investment organizations.
