Export Credit Greece S.A. (ECG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Export Credit Agency (ECA) Ukraine, on October 22nd, 2024, during the official visit of the Secretary General for International Economic Affairsof the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Dimitris Skalkos, in Kyiv. The MoU signing is integral part of ongoing efforts to boost the international reach of Greek businesses.
Mr. Dimitris Skalkos, the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs, stated: “The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding between Export Credit Greece (ECG) and Ukraine’s Export Credit Agency (ECA) is an important first step in developing synergies between the two agencies. Its aim is to mutually facilitate export trade and investment in both countries in the areas of insurance, knowledge exchange, and the exploration of business opportunities. The Greek government is committed to fostering mutually beneficial economic relations and stands ready to support international initiatives for the reconstruction of Ukraine.”
Ms. Oksana Ocheretiana, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ECA Ukraine, stated: “The signing of the MoU will promote exchange of information with ECG regarding investment opportunities, legislation and regulations related to investments and will ensure their availability to the business circles of both countries. With this document, we will encourage direct contacts between business sectors, to provide support to companies interested in launching new initiatives.”
